Director of Finance

About the role

The Director of Finance will lead all financial activities for Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North, supporting day‑to‑day operations and long‑term strategic initiatives. Reporting to the Managing Director, this role ensures accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and financial insight for ownership.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, payroll and financial reporting.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Maintain internal controls, coordinate audits, tax filings and regulatory compliance.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and develop financial models for strategic decisions.
• Provide variance analysis and actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Support capital projects, construction budgeting, cash‑flow forecasting and ROI analysis.
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships and liquidity to meet operational needs.
• Guide the Accounting Manager and finance team, fostering collaboration across departments.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years progressive experience in a senior finance leadership role within a large resort or hospitality property in the Middle East.
• Proven track record of overseeing full‑cycle accounting, budgeting and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical abilities with experience in financial modeling and variance analysis.
• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
