Director of Finance

About the role

The Director of Finance will provide financial leadership for the hotel, guiding management with accurate reporting, internal controls and strategic insight to drive profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage cash flow statements, receivables, payables and cash balances.
• Ensure compliance with all local fiscal regulations, permits and licensing requirements.
• Safeguard leases, contracts and legal documents affecting the hotel’s financial position.
• Review and sign off daily, monthly and audit reports, including revenue, expense and trend analyses.
• Monitor hotel revenues and expenses, investigate variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Support capital planning, calculate return on investment and oversee bid processes.
• Maintain accurate balance‑sheet accounts and timely bank reconciliations.
• Assist in recruiting and managing the finance team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior finance leadership within hospitality or a comparable industry.
• Strong understanding of international accounting standards and local tax regulations.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and present actionable recommendations.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safeguarding assets.
