Director of Front of House

About the role

The Director of Front of House will lead the front‑of‑house team to ensure the highest standards of service across all hotel areas, aligning with Rosewood’s brand and quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all hotel areas meet Rosewood’s service standards and drive initiatives to raise awareness of these standards.
• Oversee daily front‑of‑house operations, including guest arrivals, departures, VIP handling, and lobby presence.
• Maintain accurate guest history, manage guest feedback, and resolve complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Monitor financial performance, control wastage, promote ancillary services, and manage the Front Office upselling program.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in collaboration with department heads.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in luxury hospitality front‑of‑house operations.
• Strong ability to drive quality, productivity, and financial results while maintaining guest‑centric service.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and team‑development skills.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of luxury hotel service standards (Forbes, LQA, Rosewood brand).
• Experience with revenue management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in guest history systems and front‑office software.
