Director of Housekeeping

About the role

The Ned Doha is seeking an experienced Director of Housekeeping to lead its housekeeping team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and service across all guest rooms and public areas. This senior leadership position operates within a luxury hotel environment that adheres to Forbes Travel Guide standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the housekeeping team to consistently deliver luxury standards.
• Ensure all guest rooms and public spaces meet or exceed Forbes Travel Guide criteria.
• Manage daily operations, staff scheduling, and performance monitoring.
• Oversee inventory control, budgeting, and cost‑management while maintaining quality.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide a seamless guest experience.
• Drive continuous improvement through training, engagement and process optimisation.

Required profile

• Proven senior housekeeping leadership experience in a luxury hotel.
• Strong knowledge of Forbes Travel Guide standards and luxury service expectations.
• Exceptional leadership, team development and communication abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
• Organisational, proactive and solution‑oriented mindset.
