Early Years Teacher

About the role

The Early Years Teacher will create a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment for young learners in a Nursery or Reception class. You will guide children through child‑initiated play and structured activities, using in‑the‑moment planning to support their development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily learning experiences for Early Years or Reception students.
• Design and deliver a balance of child‑initiated play and focused activities.
• Plan and adapt lessons in real time to meet individual needs.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student progress.
• Engage in continuous professional development through school and Nord Anglia resources.

Required profile

• University degree and a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
• Ideally two years of experience teaching Early Years or Year 1.
• Reflective practitioner committed to delivering memorable learning experiences.
• Ability to meet Qatar visa requirements, including a face‑to‑face qualification.
• Strong communication skills for building relationships with parents and diverse audiences.
