English Teacher – Middle Secondary (British Curriculum)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified English Teacher to deliver British‑curriculum English lessons to middle‑secondary students in Doha. The role involves creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a supportive learning environment, and collaborating with school staff and families.

Key responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans aligned with British curriculum objectives for middle‑secondary English.
• Deliver instruction through lectures, discussions and multimedia resources.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs and manage classroom behaviour.
• Assess student progress with tests, assignments and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with parents, counselors and school staff to support learners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Linguistics or Literature from a recognized university.
• Valid teaching licence from the UK, US, CA, AU, IR, SC, NZ, ZA or Scandinavian countries.
• Native‑level English speaker.
• Minimum two years of experience teaching English at middle‑secondary level, preferably British curriculum.
• Strong classroom‑management abilities and cultural sensitivity.

Required skills

• Computer literacy and ability to use audiovisual equipment for instruction.
