About the role
Halliburton is seeking an ESG Accountant to join its finance team in Doha. The role offers exposure to general accounting, internal controls, financial analysis, forecasting, and industry‑specific financial applications.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal vouchers for accounting transactions.
- Generate accounting reports and complex analyses using spreadsheets or finance applications.
- Research and resolve basic accounting issues while ensuring compliance with internal controls.
- Understand and apply company business systems, processes, and policies for the assigned location and department.
- Support financial forecasting and reporting activities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in finance and accounting roles.
- Knowledge of US GAAP or country‑specific accounting principles.
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CMA, or CPA are a plus.
Required skills
- SAP or S/4 HANA (Finance module) proficiency.
- Experience with ERP accounting software.
- Understanding of US GAAP and internal control frameworks.
