Executive Director Strategy

About the role

The organization is seeking a visionary Executive Director of Strategy to shape its long‑term agenda, drive transformation, and align initiatives with Qatar Vision 2030. This senior leader will guide strategic planning, performance management, and enterprise‑wide change.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor the corporate strategy and long‑term priorities.
• Ensure alignment of organizational goals with Qatar Vision 2030.
• Lead transformation programmes that improve effectiveness, efficiency, innovation and sustainable growth.
• Establish and oversee enterprise‑wide performance management and accountability frameworks.
• Translate strategic priorities into measurable objectives and outcomes.
• Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on trends, opportunities, risks and challenges.
• Identify growth opportunities, partnerships and initiatives supporting long‑term success.
• Champion a culture of accountability, execution, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Oversee preparation of executive reports, business cases, strategic studies and performance dashboards.
• Ensure governance, monitoring and reporting of strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Public Policy or related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in strategy, transformation, corporate planning, consulting or organizational development.
• Proven track record of leading enterprise‑wide strategic and transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of strategic planning, performance management, governance and accountability frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive complex change.
• Exceptional leadership, analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
