Finance Manager

About the role
We are looking for an experienced and commercially‑savvy Finance Manager to lead all financial operations for a leading Trading & Contracting organization in Qatar. The role will drive financial planning, reporting, budgeting, project costing and overall business performance.
Key responsibilities
- Manage all finance and accounting functions of the organization.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management and financial planning activities.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Monitor project costing, profitability and financial performance across multiple projects.
- Implement and maintain strong financial controls and compliance procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, accounting standards and audit requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors, banks and regulatory authorities.
- Support senior leadership with strategic financial analysis and business insights.
- Drive process improvements and digital transformation initiatives within the finance function.
- Utilise ERP systems and SAP SuccessFactors for operational and financial reporting.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- Professional qualification (CPA, CMA, ACCA or CA) preferred.
- 8–12 years of finance experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Mandatory experience in Trading & Contracting or Construction industries.
- Strong knowledge of project accounting, contract management, financial controls and cost management.
- Hands‑on experience with SAP SuccessFactors and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, leadership and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- GCC experience, preferably in Qatar, is highly desirable.
- Currently working in a Trading & Contracting or Construction organization with proven project‑based financial operations.
