Finance Specialist – Accounting, Payroll & Treasury

About the role

The Finance Specialist supports the PSO Finance department by handling accounting, time‑keeping, payroll and banking activities for the site. The role ensures compliance with the Performance Work Statement and the Amentum ISO 9001 Quality Management System.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and reconcile telephone, utility and other vendor bills; manage site petty‑cash fund.
• Administer Deltek Costpoint time‑keeping and expense modules, provide training for new hires, and ensure accurate charge coding.
• Generate month‑end accrual reports, operational fund requests, and finance reports for the Site Manager and PSO Finance.
• Process checks, wire transfers, invoices, and expense reports, maintaining an auditable filing system.
• Handle payroll accounting, respond to vendor queries, and coordinate with Supply and Purchasing for payment clearance.
• Input, reconcile, and submit weekly and monthly Quicken data files; manage accounts payable vouchers and debit purchase cards.
• Perform utility and bank runs, submit telecom correction vouchers, and provide updated salary files for payroll processing.
• Secure cash, finance documents, and office equipment; perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of experience in a professional accounting environment, including cash handling.
• Intermediate proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Valid driver’s license (home country and ability to obtain host‑nation license).
• Ability to work overtime, travel domestically and internationally, and lift light to moderate loads.
