Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

About the role

The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will lead financial modelling, reporting, and strategic planning for UrbaCon in Qatar. This senior position supports senior management by delivering comprehensive financial performance analysis, cash management, and treasury‑related projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the business planning process, preparing budgets, forecasts, and executive reports aligned with strategic objectives.
• Analyse industry and regional competitive intelligence, providing insightful narratives for operational and strategic decisions.
• Design driver‑based financial models, support acquisition modelling, and guide commercial aspects of transactions.
• Collaborate with operations, HR, and department directors to optimise financial performance and support business proposals.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly statutory reporting, consolidate forecasts, and evaluate financial results across the group.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of finance experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, regulatory requirements, and construction industry financial practices.
• Experience working in the GCC region is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead high‑performing teams and drive cross‑functional collaboration.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS and accounting standards.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Advanced financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting capabilities.
• Familiarity with latest accounting tools/software.
