About the role
Alfardan Corporation is looking for a meticulous General Accountant to join its finance team in Doha. The role focuses on accurate revenue and bank reconciliations, petty‑cash management, fixed‑asset tracking and receivables monitoring.
Key responsibilities
- Perform revenue reconciliation by matching financial records with incoming payments.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to verify and track all transactions.
- Manage petty‑cash funds and maintain precise records.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date register of fixed assets, handling acquisition, tracking and disposal.
- Monitor receivables and take action to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Prior experience with revenue reconciliation, bank reconciliation, petty‑cash, fixed assets and receivables.
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
