Finishing Carpenter

About the role

As a Finishing Carpenter with Hilton’s hotel portfolio, you will ensure guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of quality and appearance. You will play a key part in delivering the warm, memorable hospitality experience that Hilton is known for.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective carpentry work in guest rooms, corridors and public spaces.
• Repair, replace or install doors, trim, mouldings, cabinetry and other finish elements.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, ensuring minimal disruption to guests.
• Maintain tools and equipment, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with the housekeeping and engineering teams to coordinate work schedules.

Required profile

• Trade qualification in carpentry (proof may be required).
• Positive attitude and strong customer‑service mindset.
• Good communication skills and professional grooming standards.
• Flexibility to handle a variety of work situations and ability to work under pressure.
• Capability to work independently within established timeframes.
