French Teacher (IB Curriculum)

About the role

Teachanywhere is seeking a qualified French Teacher to join its international school in Doha. The role focuses on delivering a student‑centred, inquiry‑based curriculum, preferably within the IB framework, while fostering a love of the French language.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess French language lessons for diverse learners.
• Implement inquiry‑based teaching methods aligned with the IB or similar curricula.
• Adapt lesson plans to meet the needs of a multicultural classroom.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross‑curricular projects.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide feedback.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with a teaching degree or a degree plus a relevant qualification (e.g., PGCE).
• Minimum three years of post‑qualifying teaching experience.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new curricula and a student‑centred approach.
• IB curriculum experience is highly desirable but not mandatory.
