General Manager

About the role

The General Manager is a full-time, on-site position based in Doha, Qatar, responsible for overseeing daily operations across multiple salon locations. The role requires strong leadership to drive business performance, improve operational efficiency, and maintain high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the company and its branches, coordinating Operations, HR, Finance, Sales, Marketing and other support functions.
• Monitor branch performance, revenue, expenses, productivity and operational targets, and develop strategies to improve profitability.
• Lead department heads and management teams, ensuring accountability and consistent service standards.
• Review operational reports, KPIs and business performance, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Manage staffing, workforce planning, recruitment, employee relations and performance management in collaboration with HR.
• Coordinate budgeting, expenses, payments and cost control with Finance.
• Ensure implementation of company policies, procedures and operational standards.
• Identify operational issues and implement process improvements.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors and business partners.
• Provide regular business updates to ownership/management and support expansion projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a General Manager, Operations Manager or similar senior management role.
• Strong experience managing business operations and multiple departments, preferably in the beauty, salon, hospitality, retail or service industry.
• Leadership and people‑management skills with ability to oversee multiple branches.
• Good understanding of budgeting, cost control and business performance.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience in Qatar or the GCC is preferred.
