Group Investment Director

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Group Investment Director to lead the identification, evaluation, execution and management of investment opportunities across multiple sectors and geographies. The role will drive the full investment lifecycle, from initial assessment through due diligence, transaction execution, portfolio oversight and value‑creation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the evaluation and execution of investment opportunities across diverse sectors and regions.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis, valuation and investment modelling to support decisions.
• Oversee commercial, financial, legal and operational due‑diligence processes.
• Structure and execute transactions, including acquisitions, investments, divestments and strategic partnerships.
• Prepare investment memorandums, presentations and recommendations for senior management and investment committees.
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify value‑creation opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with management teams, investors, lenders, advisors and other key stakeholders.
• Support the development and execution of the overall investment strategy.
• Mentor and guide junior investment professionals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
• 6‑10 years of experience in Private Equity, Principal Investments, Infrastructure Investing, Investment Banking or Corporate Development.
• Proven track record of leading investment transactions from origination through execution and portfolio management.
• Strong understanding of M&A transactions, capital structuring and investment governance.
• Experience in sectors such as Infrastructure, Energy, Digital Infrastructure, Mining, Industrials or Financial Services is highly preferred.
• Excellent analytical, commercial, negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
