Head of Human Resources

About the role

The Head of Human Resources will lead a dedicated HR function, shaping strategy, overseeing operations and ensuring compliance across the organization. This senior position reports to senior leadership and works closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead an assigned HR function or section, setting direction and priorities.
• Manage resources, departmental work plans and budgets.
• Ensure adherence to HR policies, procedures and governance standards.
• Monitor team and functional performance, driving continuous improvement.
• Engage with senior internal and external stakeholders to align HR initiatives with business goals.

Required profile

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related discipline.
• Professional HR qualifications are advantageous.
• Minimum experience appropriate to the senior level, with strong background in HR operations, strategy, projects or organizational development.
• Experience in large, complex organisations and strong stakeholder‑management and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with senior management and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Qatar/GCC experience and Arabic language capability are a plus.
