Head of KG – Early Years Department

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head of the KG – Early Years Department to lead our kindergarten programme in Doha. The successful candidate will oversee curriculum delivery, manage classroom environments and support the professional development of early years staff.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the KG/Early Years department, ensuring high‑quality teaching and learning.
• Oversee classroom management and address student behaviour issues effectively.
• Coordinate with school leadership to implement the early years curriculum.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education for KG or Early Years from a recognised university (UK preferred).
• Teaching licence from the UK, US, CA, AU, NZ, ZA or Scandinavian countries.
• Minimum two years teaching experience at KG/Early Years level and two years experience as head of a KG/Early Years department.
• Excellent English proficiency and strong classroom management skills.
• Culturally sensitive, dependable and flexible in a changing environment.
