Head of Operations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Group Operations Director to lead the operational transformation of a fast‑growing multi‑brand food & beverage portfolio in Qatar. The role will shape scalable operating models, drive commercial performance and build a platform for sustainable expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable operating models across all brands.
• Conduct operational assessments, identify gaps and launch improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, manuals, policies and governance frameworks.
• Manage key financial metrics such as food cost, labour cost, profitability, contribution margin and EBITDA.
• Create operational reporting dashboards, KPIs and performance measurement tools.
• Formulate procurement strategies to optimise supplier performance, inventory and cost efficiency.
• Set and monitor guest experience standards through audits, mystery shopping and feedback programmes.
• Lead organisational change, embed operational discipline and ensure adoption of new systems.
• Coach and mentor operational leadership teams, building succession plans.
• Partner with senior leadership to prepare operating models for expansion and franchise readiness.
• Maximise ERP and technology platforms for accurate reporting, inventory control and process automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Operations Management or related field (MBA or postgraduate preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in multi‑site F&B or hospitality operations.
• Proven track record of building operational systems and scalable processes.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with P&L responsibility.
• Demonstrated success in leading operational transformation and continuous‑improvement programmes.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP platforms.
• Proficiency in operational reporting tools.
• Knowledge of performance‑management software.
