Head of Secondary Boys School

About the role

International Teachers Plus is seeking a male Head of Secondary Boys School to lead academic and administrative functions in Doha. The successful candidate will work closely with the Vice Principal and Principal to ensure high‑quality instruction, student welfare, and compliance with school policies.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the secondary boys’ section, including curriculum delivery and school planning.
• Implement disciplinary procedures and monitor student behaviour and achievement.
• Address and resolve concerns from students, parents, and teachers, providing regular progress reports.
• Support the Vice Principal with policy administration and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to evaluate and improve school programs and policies.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Education or Leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in a secondary teaching subject, preferably from a UK university.
• Valid teaching licence from the UK, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, or Scandinavian countries.
• Native‑level English proficiency.
• Minimum 3 years of secondary teaching experience and at least 2 years in a head or similar leadership role.
• Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
