Head of Treasury

About the role

The Head of Treasury will lead the Group’s capital structure, liquidity, funding strategy and financial risk management across a multi‑currency, multi‑jurisdiction portfolio. Reporting to the CEO and presenting to the Board, this executive role is the primary interface with international banks, credit institutions and institutional investors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead debt restructuring, refinancing and capital optimisation initiatives.
• Design and execute group‑wide funding and leverage strategies, managing corporate borrowing facilities and covenant compliance.
• Structure and negotiate syndicated and bilateral credit facilities with international banks.
• Oversee global liquidity, cash‑flow forecasting, cash pooling and inter‑company funding structures.
• Develop FX, interest‑rate and commodity hedging strategies, manage derivatives and ISDA agreements, and ensure hedge‑accounting compliance (IFRS 9).
• Establish treasury policies, controls and governance frameworks; deliver reporting to the Board and external stakeholders.
• Support M&A, capital‑raising and strategic finance initiatives; lead and develop the treasury team.

Required profile

• 18+ years of treasury experience, including 8+ years in senior leadership roles.
• Proven track record in debt restructuring and syndicated financing.
• Strong expertise in liquidity management, FX risk and capital markets.
• Experience within large corporates, conglomerates or investment holding groups.
• Professional qualification (ACT, CFA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent).

Required skills

• SAP TRM or other treasury management systems.
• FX risk management, interest‑rate and commodity hedging.
• Derivatives handling, ISDA agreements, hedge‑accounting (IFRS 9).
• Debt restructuring and syndicated loan execution.
