Housekeeping Supervisor – Al Samriya

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor at Al Samriya Autograph Collection ensures that guest rooms, public areas and facilities meet the brand’s high quality standards. Working closely with housekeeping staff, engineering, front office and laundry teams, the supervisor coordinates daily cleaning activities and maintains seamless operations.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas and pool after cleaning to verify quality standards.
• Run sold‑room reports, verify room status, prioritize cleaning and update departing‑guest room status.
• Act as liaison between housekeeping, engineering, front office and laundry to resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare, distribute and communicate changes in room assignments and shift handovers.
• Complete required paperwork and safety documentation.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and coaching staff.
• Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents or injuries and ensure completion of safety training.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months of housekeeping or supervisory experience in a hotel environment.
• Ability to lift, carry and move objects up to 55 lb unaided and heavier items with assistance.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, kneel and perform repetitive motions throughout a shift.
• Strong communication skills and professional appearance.
• Ability to use computers or point‑of‑sale systems for reporting.
