HR Business Partner Officer

About the role

The HR Business Partner Officer will support ABYAT’s growing retail operations in Qatar by developing and implementing people strategies that align with business objectives. This role acts as a bridge between employees and management, ensuring a positive workplace culture and compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Onboard new hires, collect mandatory documents, conduct inductions and arrange technical setup.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, addressing inquiries, resolving issues and communicating company news.
• Develop and promote employee engagement initiatives that reinforce company values.
• Assist throughout the performance management cycle and coordinate training and development programs.
• Oversee succession planning processes.
• Monitor Qatar labour regulations, prepare monthly compliance reports and support all government‑related HR tasks.
• Manage recruitment activities, including collecting CVs, maintaining employee records, representing ABYAT at job fairs and conducting interviews.

Required profile

• Proven experience in human resources or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar labour laws and government relations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple HR functions such as onboarding, employee relations, performance management and recruitment.
