HR Officer – Employee Relations

About the role

The HR Officer – Employee Relations will serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers within the assigned business unit. The role ensures smooth coordination of HR operations, from recruitment to off‑boarding, while maintaining compliance with labour regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as trusted liaison for employees and managers on workplace matters.
• Investigate, mediate and resolve employee complaints, grievances and disputes confidentially.
• Coordinate with internal departments (procurement, finance, real estate, maintenance) and external parties (vendors, government authorities, auditors).
• Prepare, review and manage employment contracts and related documentation.
• Maintain accurate employee data across HR systems and ensure timely updates.
• Respond to payroll and policy queries, and provide required certificates.
• Monitor attendance, manage leave applications via the ESS system.
• Support payroll accuracy by supplying validated information and supporting documents.
• Oversee end‑to‑end onboarding activities, including visa processing, document collection, accommodation arrangements and induction.
• Manage off‑boarding processes, covering exit interviews, visa cancellation, final settlements and asset recovery.
• Consolidate exit interview feedback and flag trends for HR intervention.
• Assist in developing, revising and communicating HR policies to ensure legal compliance.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of employee relations and conflict resolution.
• Experience handling HR documentation, contracts and data management.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple internal departments and external agencies.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with staff at all levels.
• Attention to detail in payroll support and compliance matters.
