Industrial Hygiene Engineer – Offshore (Nationals Only)

About the role

The Industrial Hygiene Engineer will lead the execution of health and industrial hygiene programmes at offshore sites, ensuring safe working environments through comprehensive risk assessments and monitoring activities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct industrial hygiene risk assessments for chemical, physical and biological hazards both offshore and onshore.
• Develop and maintain Industrial Hygiene Risk Assessment files.
• Liaise with operational sites to review and validate air‑quality monitoring data.
• Administer the Chemwatch chemical database and provide related training.
• Measure noise levels, organise vibration surveys on production platforms and support HSE superintendents.
• Advise Radiation Protection Officers and the Environment department on ionising radiation and radioactivity matters.
• Develop, update and implement company procedures for the Health and Industrial Hygiene Management System.
• Assist in the selection, calibration and maintenance of industrial hygiene equipment.
• Support awareness campaigns, inspections and audits, and stay abreast of industry best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, environmental science, engineering or health science.
• Strong knowledge of chemistry, biology, physics and mathematics.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; the role is open to nationals only.
