About the role

The In‑Room Dining Order Taker & Cashier provides seamless service to guests by taking food and beverage orders, handling payments, and ensuring accurate communication with the kitchen and front‑office teams. This position supports the hotel's high standards of hospitality, safety, and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Explain food and beverage offerings, including wine pairings and promotions, to guests.
• Maintain professional phone etiquette and accurately record guest requests.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
• Provide guests with estimated preparation times and answer related inquiries.
• Assist the IRD Manager and Front Office in delivering VIP amenities and special requests.
• Support IRD servers with table setup, clearing, and daily mise‑en‑place preparation.
• Track order delivery and trolley collection to avoid delays.
• Operate the in‑room dining point‑of‑sale system and process billing accurately.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of food and beverage menus and the ability to communicate details clearly.
• Professional phone and guest interaction skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow hotel policies and procedures.
