IT Infrastructure Specialist (Azure & GCP)

About the role

The IT Infrastructure Specialist/Engineer designs, implements and maintains the organization’s hybrid IT environment across Azure, Google Cloud Platform and on‑premises data centers. You will be responsible for servers, storage, networking and related services, ensuring reliable and secure operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and configure infrastructure components on‑premises, Azure and GCP.
• Administer cloud services including compute instances, databases and other PaaS offerings.
• Maintain servers, operating systems and virtualization platforms.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and optimise storage solutions.
• Configure basic networking equipment such as switches and routers.
• Document configurations, processes and procedures comprehensively.
• Generate regular reports on performance, usage and security metrics.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure concepts and cloud environments.
• Experience with Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Active Directory, SQL and Exchange/O365.
• Ability to analyse systems, troubleshoot efficiently and make data‑driven decisions.
• Willingness to work on‑call or shift basis when required.
• Strong time‑management, prioritisation and collaboration skills.
