IT Systems Specialist – Azure & GCP

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Systems Specialist to manage, monitor, and optimise our cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform. You will work closely with the Information Security Assurance team to ensure reliability, security, and performance of critical services.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to incidents, troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and follow system ROTA and SLA requirements.
• Administer cloud services, virtual machines, databases and PaaS offerings on Azure and GCP.
• Monitor and optimise performance of IT systems, including cloud storage, backup and recovery strategies.
• Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure configurations and generate performance and security reports.
• Conduct capacity planning, resource utilisation analysis and support disaster‑recovery testing.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience as a Systems Engineer with a focus on Azure and GCP.
• Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Architect are a plus.
