Lead, Subsea Operations

About the role

The Lead, Subsea Operations is responsible for ensuring that all manned and unmanned subsea activities comply with international codes, classification societies, flag state and local regulations, as well as company procedures. The role drives a robust vetting and monitoring programme for personnel, equipment and contractors to minimise risk across offshore operations.

Key responsibilities

• Promote an incident‑free environment by embedding a strong HSE culture and leading subsea incident investigations.
• Support the Head of Marine & Subsea with budget management, cost‑efficiency initiatives and financial forecasting.
• Act as the Subsea Technical Review Panel (TRP), set company standards, approve technical deviations and ensure compliance with CMS rules, classification societies and industry best practice.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years (120 months) of experience in subsea operations within the oil and gas sector.
• Proven ability to lead and supervise offshore contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Deep knowledge of international subsea codes, classification societies, flag‑state and local regulations.
