Legal Counsel – Corporate & Commercial Law

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support across our organization and its affiliates. The role involves safeguarding the company’s interests, ensuring compliance with GCC regulations, and delivering strategic legal advice.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and agreements with third‑party suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
• Conduct legal research and stay up‑to‑date with GCC laws, corporate regulations, and arbitration practices.
• Develop and maintain standard agreement templates for group‑wide compliance.
• Verify licenses and registrations of third parties and ensure all legal documentation meets corporate standards.
• Provide legal consultations and thought leadership to internal teams and senior leadership.
• Assist in the formation of new entities, including legal documentation and registration.
• Coordinate legal translation as required and support cross‑functional initiatives to mitigate risk.

Required profile

• Bilingual in English and Arabic; French is a plus.
• Law degree from a reputable university.
• Minimum 10 years of legal experience, with at least 5 years as a practicing lawyer or in‑house counsel.
• Strong integrity, self‑motivation, and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and PR skills.
