Leisure Sales Manager – Hotel (Doha)

About the role

The Leisure Sales Manager will drive room revenue and market share for the hotel’s leisure travel segment in Doha. You will manage relationships with tour operators, OTAs, travel agents, consortia and tourism boards, creating strategic plans to maximise occupancy, especially during off‑peak periods.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow existing leisure accounts while prospecting new business globally and regionally.
• Negotiate annual wholesale and FIT contracts, ensuring pricing aligns with revenue strategies.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends and leisure travel patterns to identify new niches.
• Represent the hotel at major trade shows (e.g., ITB, WTM, ILTM) and lead targeted sales missions.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management and Marketing to develop leisure packages and promotions.
• Organise and host FAM trips for agents, wholesalers and media.
• Track account performance, analyse ROI and provide forecast reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hotel sales experience, specifically in the leisure segment.
• Proven network of contacts among luxury travel advisors, consortia and international tour operators.
• Experience in the Qatar market is essential.
• Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings, trade shows and industry events.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Property Management Systems such as Opera.
• Experience using Central Reservation Systems (CRS).
• Knowledge of CRM tools like Salesforce and Delphi.
