Local Provider Medical Manager

About the role

The Assistant Manager for Medical Provider Management (MPM) in Qatar is responsible for efficiently managing the medical provider network, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost‑effective, high‑quality services for Allianz Partners.

Key responsibilities

• Support and drive the strategy set by the Global & Regional Head of MPM, delivering objectives for the regional provider network.
• Negotiate onboarding, tariffs, and service inclusions with medical providers to reduce claim costs and achieve financial savings.
• Maintain and develop a single AP medical provider network, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and regular performance monitoring.
• Prepare and deliver regular reports, dashboards, and cost‑analysis to senior management.
• Manage provider complaints, investigations, and escalations to ensure business continuity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, medical background preferred.
• 3‑5 years experience in network administration within hospitals, insurers or TPAs.
• Fluent in English, French and Arabic; other languages a plus.
• Strong analytical, commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills.
• Physically fit, able to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
