Manager - Financial & Operational Audit

About the role

The Manager – Financial & Operational Audit will lead the planning, execution and delivery of comprehensive audits across Ooredoo’s finance, procurement, revenue assurance, asset management, HR and commercial operations. Reporting to senior audit leadership, the role ensures audits follow International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (IIA) and supports the strengthening of internal controls and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine the annual internal audit plan using a risk‑based approach, identifying key financial and operational risks.
• Conduct preliminary risk assessments and stakeholder discussions to scope and prioritize audit engagements.
• Manage the full audit lifecycle – planning, fieldwork, reporting and follow‑up – across multiple business functions.
• Lead audit teams, review working papers and testing documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Interact with senior management to communicate findings, recommend improvements and monitor remediation actions.
• Coordinate with the Group Chief Audit Executive (GCAE) and senior audit leadership to align audit priorities with strategic objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in internal audit of financial and operational processes.
• Familiarity with International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (IIA).
• Ability to manage audit teams and engage with senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with focus on risk identification and control evaluation.
