About the role

The Doha English Speaking School is seeking a qualified Music Teacher for its Lower School. This part‑time position involves approximately 15 hours of teaching per week, starting in August 2026. The role is ideal for a UK‑qualified teacher already residing in Qatar who is passionate about delivering high‑quality music education.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging music lessons for lower‑school students.
• Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with the school’s educational standards.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Organise and lead school music events, performances and rehearsals.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music across the broader curriculum.

Required profile

• UK‑recognised teaching qualification in Music.
• Degree in Music or a related field, with transcripts attested as required.
• Current residence in Qatar.
• Willingness to undergo enhanced safeguarding checks and provide required certificates.
