People & Culture Operations Manager

About the role

Mandarin Oriental Doha is seeking a People & Culture Operations Manager to lead and strengthen the People & Culture department. The role ensures HR processes align with the hotel’s luxury standards and supports the delivery of exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with department heads to meet recruitment needs and attract talent that can delight guests.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle, including vacancy posting, candidate selection, and onboarding, while adhering to budget constraints.
• Oversee employee lifecycle procedures such as starters, transfers, promotions, variations, and exits.
• Direct day‑to‑day People & Culture operations and workflow, planning and implementing departmental activities.
• Maintain and annually update the compensation programme in line with market and internal policies.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar labour legislation and internal HR policies.
• Control headcount against approved budgets and produce regular reports.
• Administer disciplinary and grievance processes in partnership with the Director of People & Culture.
• Provide HR support to department heads to achieve strategic business objectives and foster positive colleague relations.

Required profile

• Degree or Higher National Diploma in Hospitality, Business Management, or Human Resources.
• Minimum two years of experience in a 5‑star hotel environment.
• At least two years as a People & Culture Manager or three years in an equivalent senior HR role.
• International experience within the GCC or Doha preferred.
