Pipe Fitter

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is hiring a full-time Pipe Fitter in Doha within the oil and gas sector. The role covers reading piping drawings, installing piping systems and supporting equipment, and ensuring work meets safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret isometric drawings, blueprints and technical specifications.
• Measure, cut, thread, bend and fit pipes using hand and power tools.
• Install piping systems, supports, valves, fittings and associated equipment.
• Align and secure pipes according to project requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct hydrostatic and pressure tests on piping systems as required.
• Identify and rectify installation defects and leaks.
• Assist with pipe fabrication and installation on site.
• Maintain tools and equipment and coordinate with welders, supervisors and other trades.
• Follow company quality, environmental, health and safety standards.

Required profile

• High school certificate, technical diploma or equivalent vocational training; pipe fitting certification preferred.
• Valid trade test certificate is an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pipe Fitter in oil and gas, water treatment or industrial projects.
• Ability to read piping drawings and layouts, knowledge of piping materials, fittings and valves, and familiarity with safety standards and permit-to-work systems.
• Physically fit for demanding site conditions, with good teamwork and communication skills.
