Presales Solution Consultant – Application Development

About the role

As a Presales Solution Consultant within Malomatia’s Application Development & Modernization Business Unit, you will act as a trusted technical advisor for government and enterprise clients. You will design, propose, and demonstrate custom software solutions that address complex business challenges while showcasing Malomatia’s capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end presales lifecycle: discovery, solution design, technical presentations, proposals, and PoC creation.
• Collaborate with sales, delivery, and architecture teams to shape opportunities in custom application development, legacy modernization, and cloud‑native solutions.
• Capture customer requirements, pain points, and transformation goals, translating them into scalable, secure architectures.
• Develop solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, and technical demos that highlight value and feasibility.
• Support agile delivery and DevOps practices to ensure proposed solutions align with implementation realities.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in technical presales, solution consulting, or solution architecture, preferably with a system integrator or enterprise service provider.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Java.NET, Python or similar development frameworks.
• Experience with low‑code/no‑code platforms.
• Hands‑on knowledge of cloud‑native applications on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Data & AI, Copilot, and OpenAI services (optional but advantageous).
• Legacy modernization techniques such as refactoring, containerization, and API enablement.
• Understanding of enterprise integration, workflow orchestration, and security considerations.
• Exposure to agile delivery, DevOps, and multi‑tier application architectures.
