Private Banking Business Lead

About the role

Aventus is looking for a seasoned Private Banking Business Lead to drive the transformation and expansion of its Private Banking franchise in Doha. You will lead the conversion of deposit‑based relationships into active investment portfolios, accelerate AUM growth, and enhance the bank’s position as a premier wealth‑management provider.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to convert deposit relationships into investment relationships.
• Accelerate Assets Under Management (AUM) growth and increase investment‑related revenue.
• Capture cross‑border wealth flows through international booking centres, focusing on corridors such as India, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Egypt.
• Leverage Qatar, Switzerland and other hubs to attract High‑Net‑Worth (HNW) and Ultra‑High‑Net‑Worth (UHNW) clients.
• Build and lead advisory teams, shaping wealth propositions and RM capability frameworks.
• Strengthen stakeholder relationships and drive business development across markets.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management, Investments or International Wealth Advisory.
• Proven track record of growing AUM, investment revenues and acquiring HNW/UHNW clients.
• Deep understanding of private banking business models and cross‑border wealth management.
• Commercially driven with strong focus on revenue growth and asset gathering.
• Excellent stakeholder management and business development skills.
