Project Director – Oil & Gas EPC (Doha, Qatar)

About the role

IPS Group is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead an Oil & Gas EPC project in Doha, Qatar. The role demands strong leadership across complex engineering disciplines, ensuring successful delivery of piping, heavy equipment, and rotating equipment installations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall project leadership and governance for the EPC contract.
• Coordinate and supervise the installation of piping systems, heavy equipment, gas turbines and compressors.
• Manage project schedules, budgets and risk registers to meet client expectations.
• Liaise with client, subcontractors and internal teams to resolve technical and commercial issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a senior project management role within Oil & Gas or related EPC projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams on large‑scale installations.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle, contract management and stakeholder communication.
