Project Manager – Customer Service Projects

About the role

The Project Manager will lead the end‑to‑end delivery of Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) switchgear, protection systems, Substation Automation Systems (SAS) and Digital Power projects for the Customer Services business in Qatar. The role ensures projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget and to the highest quality and contractual standards while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple customer‑service projects from order intake through warranty closure.
• Develop and maintain execution plans, schedules, resource allocations, risk registers and communication plans.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, installation, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Monitor progress, implement recovery actions and conduct regular review meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage MV/LV switchgear, protection and automation project teams.
• Own commercial and financial performance, including P&L accountability.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environment standards and Siemens Quality Management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Siemens Certified Project Manager, NEBOSH or IOSH are advantageous.
• 8‑12 years of experience in power distribution, protection and automation systems.
• Minimum 5 years of project‑management experience, with proven delivery of MV/LV switchgear projects.
• Experience in both brownfield and greenfield projects.
