Project Manager – Oil & Gas

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our Oil & Gas project in East Africa, Rwanda. The role involves overseeing all phases of the project, ensuring technical excellence, financial viability, and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate project activities across the oil and gas sector.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support project budgeting and forecasting.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage various contracting models and oversee contract administration.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive project reports to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in electrical power systems, energy systems engineering, renewable energy engineering, mechanical engineering, or oil/petroleum and gas engineering.
• Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
• Minimum 10 years of proven project management experience in electrical power, oil & gas, or energy systems engineering.
• Strong reporting abilities and a high sense of organization and responsibility.
