QA/QC Engineer – Oil & Gas Projects

About the role

The QA/QC Engineer will ensure quality assurance and quality control throughout the detailed engineering, procurement, and construction phases of major oil & gas projects. You will review EPC deliverables and coordinate third‑party inspection activities to meet project standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform QA/QC activities during engineering, procurement, and construction.
• Review and approve EPC documentation and deliverables.
• Coordinate and monitor third‑party source inspections.
• Support in‑service modifications and offshore/onshore project execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience on oil & gas projects (LNG experience preferred).
• At least 5 years designing, manufacturing, and testing DBB valves, motor‑operated valves (MOV) and shutdown valves (SDV) with actuators and gearboxes.
• Experience on both onshore and offshore sites.
• Valid TBOSIET, H2S, Breathing Apparatus (OPITO) and Offshore Medical certificates.

Required skills

• CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspection certification.
• NDT Level II – Radiographic, Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant, Ultrasonic testing.
• ISO 9001:2015 Internal/Lead Auditor (IRCA or equivalent).
• QA verification programs across engineering, procurement, construction, and installation phases.
