QC Engineer – Rotating Equipment Inspection & Quality Control

About the role

We are looking for a QC Engineer to support our engineering and workshop teams in the inspection, quality control, and dimensional verification of rotating equipment such as compressors, turbines, and pumps. The role combines hands‑on shop‑floor inspection with technical interpretation of engineering drawings, quality plans, and client specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct support to engineering and workshop teams on inspection tools, techniques, and systems.
• Perform dimensional inspection of compressors, turbines, pumps, machined parts, and precision assemblies.
• Review OEM/client quality and inspection plans, identify hold points and witness points.
• Prepare project quality and inspection test plans for client approval.
• Set up and operate CMMs, including Faro Arm equipment, to verify conformance.
• Conduct thread inspections per API 5CT, 5B, 7‑1, and 7‑2 standards.
• Execute PT and MT inspections in line with ASNT Level II requirements.
• Investigate non‑conformances, perform root‑cause analysis, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Coordinate quality inspection of received materials with procurement.
• Maintain inspection records, calibration logs, NCRs, and quality documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or Quality Engineering.
• Strong hands‑on shop‑floor inspection experience with rotating equipment.
• Familiarity with OEM/client specifications, regulatory and international quality standards.
