Quality Assurance Coordinator

About the role

The Quality Assurance Coordinator will support McDonald’s Qatar in upholding food safety, quality, and supplier compliance across the restaurant system. Working closely with internal teams and external suppliers, the role ensures that new products and equipment meet the brand’s rigorous standards before launch.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for restaurants on product quality, food safety, and customer complaint investigations.
• Conduct internal restaurant audits, support corrective action plans, and prepare locations for third‑party food safety and quality audits.
• Monitor supplier performance, maintain product specifications, and ensure compliance with McDonald’s quality standards.
• Perform supplier audits and plant visits to verify food safety, quality control, sanitation, and process compliance.
• Manage the test kitchen, including product validation, sensory evaluations, equipment maintenance, and food safety checks.
• Collaborate with suppliers, Supply Chain, Operations, and Product Development teams to support product launches, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in food safety, quality assurance, and supplier compliance within a restaurant or food‑service environment.
• Ability to conduct audits, investigations, and corrective action planning.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
