Reservoir Engineer I

About the role

The Reservoir Engineer I will support technical studies aimed at optimizing development and recovery of the Al Shaheen reservoir(s). Working under the Head of Reservoir Development & Growth, the role contributes to appraisal, development planning and model updates.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver reservoir engineering studies that feed into Field Development Plans (FDP) and Appraisal Plans.
• Update and maintain full‑field static and dynamic reservoir models in collaboration with geophysicists, geologists and other specialists.
• Provide inputs for Annual Reserves (ARR) and Long‑Term Plan production forecasts.
• Participate in dynamic pilot maturation, post‑mortems and integration of lessons learned into future studies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Reservoir or Petroleum Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 6 years of experience within a subsurface organization, working in multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven ability to engage and manage stakeholders at all levels.

Required skills

• Reservoir modeling (static and dynamic).
• History matching and model updating.
• Appraisal and development planning.
• Use of full‑field reservoir models for scenario analysis.
