Respiratory Therapist - ICU Ventilator Support

About the role

A Respiratory Therapist provides clinical application support for ICU ventilators and respiratory care equipment, including product demonstrations, bedside support, clinical evaluations and training for healthcare professionals. The role also supports market development, customer engagement and business growth for the respiratory care portfolio in Qatar.

Key responsibilities

• Guide healthcare professionals on ventilation modes, device operation and clinical applications, and coordinate with technical service teams on equipment issues
• Conduct pre-sales, post-sales and end-user training, clinical presentations and practical demonstrations, and take part in workshops, CME programmes and conferences
• Promote respiratory care therapies, build relationships with key opinion leaders, physicians, respiratory therapists, nurses and biomedical teams, and support new product introductions
• Assist with product presentations, tender documentation, quotations and customer proposals
• Coordinate hospital visits, product evaluations and follow-up, manage product complaints with technical teams and manufacturers, and arrange demonstration equipment with logistics
• Maintain activity reports and comply with company policies, ethics and compliance requirements and safety procedures

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or Respiratory Care preferred; nursing or other clinical qualifications may be considered
• Minimum 2 years of clinical or medical device application support experience, preferably in respiratory or critical care
• Good understanding of mechanical ventilation and ICU practice
• Experience in product demonstrations and clinical training is an advantage
• Minimum 1 year of GCC experience, preferably in Qatar, is desirable
• Willingness to travel across Qatar; a valid Qatar driving licence is preferred
