Restaurant Counter Cashier

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Restaurant Counter Cashier to be the first point of contact for guests. The role involves handling all payment transactions, taking orders, and ensuring a smooth dining experience from the moment customers arrive until they leave.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and guide them through the menu.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system and relay details to the kitchen.
• Process cash, card, and digital payments responsibly.
• Answer guest inquiries, handle requests and resolve complaints professionally.
• Maintain a clean, organized counter and front‑of‑house area.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of cashier or customer‑service experience, preferably in a restaurant.
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Customer‑first mindset with a cheerful, professional demeanor.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Valid Qatari ID (QID) for Qatar‑based applicants.
