Restaurant Manager – West Bay, Doha

About the role

The Restaurant Manager will oversee all aspects of the restaurant, bar/lounge and room‑service operations in West Bay, Doha. The role includes supervising daily service, assisting with menu planning, maintaining sanitation standards and supporting front‑of‑house staff during peak periods. The manager is responsible for driving guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing financial performance and implementing training programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily restaurant, bar and room‑service operations, ensuring service quality and sanitation standards.
• Manage staffing levels, schedule employees and step in to perform duties when needed.
• Lead and coach the food‑and‑beverage team, fostering a collaborative environment and modelling professional behaviour.
• Ensure compliance with all food‑handling, sanitation and liquor‑service regulations and company policies.
• Monitor financial performance, control costs and work with management to achieve revenue targets.
• Assist with menu development and coordinate with kitchen staff to maintain product quality.
• Handle guest concerns promptly to enhance satisfaction and retention.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 4 years of food‑and‑beverage experience, or a 2‑year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to supervise and train staff in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
• Strong understanding of sanitation standards, food safety and local liquor laws.
