Risk Consulting Manager – Financial Services Risk Management (Doha)

About the role

As a Manager in the Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) practice, you will lead risk consulting engagements for capital‑market clients such as banks, pension funds, investment firms and insurers. You will act as a team leader, ensuring high‑quality delivery while building strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead FSRM engagements, overseeing project progress and stakeholder communication.
• Provide technical expertise on Pillar 1 and Pillar 2 risks, risk analytics, credit and investment analysis, and risk reporting.
• Develop presentations, contribute to proposals and package project findings into clear, high‑quality deliverables.
• Mentor junior team members, enforce EY’s Quality & Risk Management guidelines, and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Maintain and grow relationships with external clients and internal partners.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a drive for professional excellence.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Top‑tier academic background in quantitative finance, economics, actuarial science or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of consulting or banking experience, with proven team‑leadership in fast‑paced projects.
• Professional certifications such as FRM and/or CFA are preferred.
