Rotary Helicopter Mechanic

About the role

The Rotary Helicopter Mechanic is responsible for performing both routine and non‑routine maintenance on helicopters, working under the direction of a Licensed Engineer – Rotary and the Senior Manager Maintenance‑Rotary. The role ensures aircraft safety, compliance with company procedures, and supports special projects as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out helicopter routine and non‑routine maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose defects and coordinate corrective actions.
• Provide technical updates to the Licensed Engineer and Senior Manager.
• Maintain documentation standards and ensure quality control.
• Observe safety precautions and uphold housekeeping standards.
• Handle helicopters safely during maintenance operations.
• Participate in special projects and support senior engineers.

Required profile

• Diploma, Associate Degree or equivalent.
• Relevant experience as a mechanic in the aviation industry.
• Solid aviation knowledge with technical and non‑technical aviation training.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding operational environment.
